Our offers in detail

Nursing

Do you want to play an active role in shaping the future of nursing? You will receive the best possible basis for the theoretical part of the training at our own nursing academy and most of the practical assignments can be completed in-house due to the size of our hospital. Alternatively, would you like to work in the operating theatre later on? Then start your training with us as an STA or ATA. More info

Commercial Clerk / Healthcare Sector

With this profession, you will create a solid and broadly based foundation for a future job with us: receiving patients, managing data, invoicing services, procuring materials and services, developing marketing strategies.

Office Administrator

Would you like to work with people and are you communicative? Great, then you have the best prerequisites for this apprenticeship. Your tasks include working on the telephone and PC, managing data records, organising appointments, planning events and much more.

Warehouse logistics specialists

Dressings, masks, X-ray equipment - only if everything is in the right place at the right time in the hospital does it run smoothly in the end. You learn how to ensure this in this profession. You check stocks, place orders, check incoming goods, ensure proper transport and storage, coordinate the supply of the departments in the hospital and much more. Sounds interesting to you?

Medical assistant (MFA)

We offer this apprenticeship together with the Medical Care Centre (MVZ). Here, 13 specialist practices provide a networked and highly competent range of outpatient care. You are the hub of our practice, coordinating appointments, communicating with patients, preparing treatment instruments, drawing blood, applying dressings, preparing invoices and much more.

Speech therapy

Are you interested in helping people to improve their speech, language, voice, and swallowing skills and would you like to become a speech therapist? We support your training at the Schule für Logopädie der Gesundheit Nord in Bremen with a scholarship of €300 per month in addition to your training salary if you take up a position with us in speech therapy following your training. You can use this e.g. to offset the cost of commuting to school in Bremen if you live in Bremerhaven or the surrounding area. More info

Training as an MT-R

You can complete a three-year training programme as a medical technologist for radiology with us in cooperation with the GeNo training academy. You enjoy working with technology, working with highly complex diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, carrying out radiological examinations independently, assisting with medical procedures and working with people. All positions at our hospital are generally paid in accordance with the TVöD for the service sector of hospitals in the area of the Federation of Municipal Employers' Associations (TVöD-K). Physicians are paid according to the Collective Agreement for physicians at municipal hospitals in the area of the Federation of Municipal Employers' Associations (TV-Ärzte/ VKA).
