What you need to know

We will contact you with a proposed date.
Regardless of how you send your application, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail. If you have not received the confirmation note within two working days after the submission of your application, please contact us by sending an e-mail to bewerbung@klinikum-bremerhaven.de.
In the next step, we check your application documents. Does your profile match the job requirements? Perfect, then we will invite you to an interview.
We conduct interviews with the most suitable candidates. Always present: representatives from the works council and our women's representative. Do you currently live further away from Bremerhaven? No problem, we can also conduct a first interview digitally. We will send you a link to dial in via the Microsoft Teams software. All you need is a PC, laptop or smartphone and a standard web browser. In addition to introducing yourself and asking questions about the content, we will also talk about possible next steps.
We are a company that is bound by Collective Agreements. This means that all positions in our company are generally paid according to the TVöD for the service sector of hospitals in the area of the Federation of Municipal Employers' Associations (TVöD-K). One exception to this is staff in the medical service, which is paid according to the Collective Agreement for physicians at municipal hospitals in the area of the Federation of Municipal Employers' Associations (TV-Ärzte/ VKA). It is best to inquire about the specific classification of the position you are applying for during the interview. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, you will then be assigned to a level within this pay group.
If, after the interview, you decide in favour of us and we decide in favour of you, it will become concrete: you will receive an Agreement offer from us. As a municipal institution, we require some internal approvals for your employment. For this reason, it can take about three weeks until you receive our Agreement offer.
