The trainee programme at KBR gives you the opportunity to get to know several teams, managers and projects. It is a challenging time with a total duration of approx. 2-3 years, which prepares you for your future job of shaping care together with us.

You can choose between three areas of specialisation: As a trainee in the area of nursing education, nursing management or nursing practice development, you have the opportunity to get to know the work in these areas from different perspectives. In the trainee programme, you will work in up to five different nursing areas (6-10 months each).

The internships lasting several weeks in central departments of the hospital (e.g. Press & Marketing, Controlling, Human Resources and Legal) provide variety. This gives you an insight into central management processes.

In order to become fit for the "day-to-day business", you also regularly take part in the central events of the nursing school, the management or the scientists in the nursing service. For example, you take over teaching units in the nursing academy and are involved in the projects in the clinic. You will be supported by a permanent contact person in the nursing school, nursing management or by the Advanced Practice Nurses.
