The German university education in nursing is designed as an integrated degree programme: The theoretical knowledge is taught at the universities, and the practical education takes place in a healthcare institution such as our hospital.
Since the implementation of the relevant German law regarding the professional training of nurses (Pflegestudiumstärkungsgesetz), nursing students in Germany receive a fair compensation. For this, upon enrollment at the university students enter into an educational contract with the institution where they receive the practical instruction. In our opinion a good and important step forward to further strengthen the academisation of nursing.
We are a cooperating partner of the Hochschule Bremen regarding the International Degree Programme in Nursing B.Sc. You can find more information about this programme at this link. Students of this programme can apply to us for an educational contract. Our hospital offers all acute-clinical aspects of a maximum-care hospital. In consultation with you, we also coordinate all practical assigments outside of our hospital.
