We’ll make it fit

Collective wage agreement

There is no wage dumping with us. As a municipal hospital, we are committed to pay that is covered by Collective Agreements. Without ifs and buts. This also includes a special annual payment.

Particularly good company pension scheme

Here we work primarily with the Federal and State Government Employees' Retirement Fund (VBL). In addition to a good interest rate on your compulsory contribution, you benefit from monthly employer subsidies.

Saving with deferred compensation

You can also pay extra from your gross salary into the company insurance for retirement provision and save on your social security contributions (a good 20 percent) and personal income tax.

At least 30 days holiday

Regardless of the profession, all full-time employees in our house receive at least 30 days of holiday per year.

Flexible working time models

The classic "nine-to-five" model does not fit every phase of life. Do you have special ideas about your working hours? If the job and the general conditions allow it, we are happy to make that possible.

Mobile working

Some activities can be done more efficiently from home anyway. And on some days it is simply practical to come to work from home. For example, when the chimney sweep comes or the children need to be looked after. That is why we have implemented the company agreement on mobile working together with the works council. Every employee can work up to 80% of his or her working hours on a mobile basis - if the supervisor and the general conditions of the job allow it.

Valuable discounts

In addition to an employer allowance in our canteen (we still cook ourselves!), you benefit from discounts in our bistro and in the pharmacy of our medical centre.

Sports offers

We are a partner of Hansefit. That's why you can visit many fitness studios or swimming pools in Bremerhaven at reduced prices. By the way, there are also favourable employee rates in our free equipment training in the Centre for Outpatient Rehabilitation (ZARR) – directly in our building.

Workplace health promotion

Our company medical service takes care of your health. In addition, you can take advantage of our Company Health Management (CHM) offers.

Good public transport connection

The nearest bus stop is right outside our front door. The buses run regularly and with short intervals.

Job ticket

If you want to use public transport to get to work, you can take advantage of our subsidy for the monthly job ticket.

15 euros subsidy for the "Deutschlandticket"

If you have the "Deutschlandticket" (Germany-wide pass for local and regional public transportation), you can expect a subsidy of €15 from us. Every month anew.

Electric charging station

A public charging station is available in our car park. This service is subject to a fee.

Structured orientation

We will not leave you standing alone when you take your first steps in our company. Structured familiarisation plans and experienced colleagues can help you get started.

Mentoring offer

We want you to feel at home with us quickly. If you want, we will provide you with a mentor. He or she will help you with orientation and networking in our house. This offer is of course voluntary.

Advanced education and training

Our job requirements change over time. With individual training and development offers, we want to offer you opportunities for change without having to change employers. By the way, we have set up a separate team for the topic of training and advanced education.

At the clinic I have the option of working from home - thanks to a computer interface.

All positions in our hospital are generally remunerated according to the TVöD for the service sector of hospitals in the area of the Federation of Municipal Employers' Associations (TVöD-K). Physicians are paid according to the Collective Agreement for physicians at municipal hospitals in the area of the Federation of Municipal Employers' Associations (TV-Ärzte/ VKA).
