This is what the training offers
Do you want to do more than just support trainees and students – do you want to inspire a lasting passion for their profession? Then you have come to the right place.
As a practical trainer, you will play an active role in shaping the future of the healthcare professions. You will foster professional, personal and social skills, create motivating learning environments and support people on their journey to becoming confident and competent professionals.
That is precisely why our training programme focuses not only on the content, but above all on you. We rely on modern teaching methods, creative learning formats and a strong practical focus. Instead of traditional lectures, you can expect interactive methods, collegial discussion, simulations, digital learning resources and scope for your own ideas. Together, we will develop solutions for your day-to-day work – practical, respectful and on an equal footing.
Our aim is to empower you: with pedagogical expertise, confidence in your approach and fresh ideas for practical guidance that inspires, brings people together and has a lasting impact. In this way, you will become someone who actively shapes training and provides guidance and motivation to the professionals of tomorrow.
Interested employees from all healthcare professions (nurses, midwives, radiology technicians, laboratory technicians, medical assistants, paramedics, anaesthesia assistants and technicians, surgery assistants and technicians) who need to demonstrate their qualification as a practical instructor when supervising trainees.
Our part-time continuing professional development programme comprises a total of 300 teaching hours and is divided into eight face-to-face modules, each lasting five days. The intensive weeks take place from 08:30 to 15:30 and can be easily fitted in alongside your day job.
You can look forward to a modern, varied learning environment featuring practical methods, digital media and realistic teaching scenarios in our simulation rooms. Experienced and qualified lecturers will support you both professionally and personally on your learning journey.
The focus is on your experiences and skills. You will expand your pedagogical repertoire, reflect on your practice and develop new ideas for guidance in your day-to-day professional life. A key component of the further training programme is the independent development, implementation and reflection on a practical project. In this way, you will apply what you have learnt directly to your working environment and play an active role in shaping the quality of practical training.
Lessons usually take place from 08:30 to 15:30. You can access the current timetable for each block week at any time via our learning platform.
